Fixing bare metal open spots

Sand, shoot with self etch, put sandable primer on, sand with 400 grit

Car in 400 grit

Body work all covered up and 120grittedddd

Body has all the self etch on it by Rustoleum covered with Rustoleum Sandable filler primer (2in1). At this point the whole car was 120grit sanded. Now, simply 220, 320 and 400

sand with 80 grit, apply 3M 5887 (self levels beautifully). The white is the 3M8181 which does not sand as well but is flexible.

Getting closer, this is 120 with some 80grit

First shot at sanding

This stuff to a lot of work to get off. 100 of the 120grit and about 30 80grit discs on a DA. Wow.
